Scholl Shoes, a well-known footwear brand, started working with Kiliagon in June 2023 with the goal of significantly increasing revenues and managing its Amazon presence more efficiently. The partnership aimed to improve brand visibility and optimize performance across several Amazon channels.

Activities

360-degree channel management
During 2023, Kiliagon launched several initiatives to improve Scholl Shoes’ performance on Amazon. Activities covered full channel management in the main European markets: Germany, Italy, France, Spain and the United Kingdom (EU5).

Creative assets
Kiliagon developed a wide range of creative assets for Scholl, including a fully redesigned and visually compelling Store Page, an engaging and well-structured Brand Story to better reach the target audience, significant improvements to A+ content to enrich product descriptions, and refinements to product detail pages (PDPs) to ensure a smoother and more informative shopping experience.

Variations
Kiliagon also carried out an extensive project to sort and organize Scholl’s entire product catalog, ensuring that all variations were accurately categorized and structured. This simplified the shopping experience, helping customers quickly find the products they wanted and choose the options best suited to their needs.

Advertising
A key point of Kiliagon’s strategy was ROAS optimization for Scholl’s Professional Line, especially in the highly competitive Italian and German markets. By leveraging advanced Amazon advertising strategies such as keyword optimization, strategic bidding and targeted Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns, Kiliagon was able to increase visibility and reach the right audience segments. The team also conducted ongoing analysis and performance adjustments to make sure ads delivered maximum value, increasing both traffic and conversion rates for Scholl products. This focused approach played a crucial role in improving advertising efficiency and significantly increasing sales in these core markets.

Results 2022 vs 2023 (pre- and post-partnership)

The collaboration delivered outstanding results. Across EU5 markets, Scholl Shoes recorded +79% sales year over year, with exceptional growth of +96% in Italy, +78% in the United Kingdom and +63% in Germany.

Advertising
In Italy, during the last quarter of 2023, total ROAS improved by 17% versus the previous year, with a +44% increase in Q4 alone. Q4 advertising budget grew by 69%, leading to an impressive +144% increase in advertising revenues. Similarly, in Germany, Q4 advertising revenues rose by 106%, supported by +31% growth in total ROAS.

The significant increase in total ROAS demonstrates not only the effectiveness of Kiliagon’s advertising strategies, but also the broader positive impact these activities had on Scholl Shoes’ organic performance. By improving brand visibility and attracting targeted traffic through paid campaigns, Kiliagon indirectly increased search ranking and organic visibility as well. This synergy between paid advertising and organic performance created a virtuous cycle in which stronger exposure from ads reinforced the brand’s overall presence, leading to higher organic conversions and sustained growth across both paid and organic channels.
